The Portuguese Cultural Center's construction continues to move
forward. This week, our center was visited by the Portuguese Ambassador to
New England, Dr. Cruz de Almeida. The Ambassador was impressed with all
the work that has been achieved so far, and offered his own time and effort to
helping us in our cause. Below, you will find some pictures of the
Ambassador's visit, as well as some photos of our "Open House," which
brought approximately 3 to 4 hundred visitors to the site in a span of only a
few hours. Along with some sizable donations, over a dozen new membership
applications were submitted during the open house, making it a complete success.
