The Portuguese Cultural
Center is in the process of locating all those Portuguese
men and women that have served or are currently serving in
the United States Armed Forces. The Portuguese Cultural
Center is looking to create a “Portuguese Wall of Honor” to
recognize these Portuguese veterans. This recognition is
past over due and with your help the Portuguese Cultural
Center will be able to demonstrate to the Portuguese
Community the commitment to our nation. This is part of our
heritage in the United States but particularly in the City
of Danbury. This will assist the younger and future
generation of the sacrifices that our community has made to
the defense of freedom.
